Chicago – architecture, sports, gangsters, pizza and hotdogs, extreme weather and lakeside walks. I have lived in Chicago for more than a decade and explored most of it with my camera, here are some of my personal favorite spots for photography
Buckingham fountain. The is an amazing light show during the summer evenings. Romantic and dramatic, one of my favorite photo spots in this city.

The Willis (formerly Sears) Tower
Skyscrapers are synonymous with Chicago, and the tallest spots open to visitors are the Hancock or the Willis tower. Either is worth a visit.
Millennium Park.

The “El” train in the Loop area in the center on the city
On The Lakefront
Michigan Ave and the Wrigley Building
The Theater District and State Street
Wrigley Field ( take the train the Addison Stop on the Cta red line )
The Green Mill is possibly the oldest Jazz Club in the country and a favorite of Al Capone…
Old style movie cinema, that has an organ player some nights, one of my fav places in the city
The list is endless, and it’s a different experience in Summer and Winter. I personally love the city covered in snow, but in the Summer there are lots of outdoor events organized by the city. So much to see and do, you can’t really go wrong anytime of the year if you are heading for a photo trip, just be prepared for all sorts of weather!
